Sundays
Sunday School at 10:00 AM (ages 5+)
Worship Service at 11:00 AM
2953 Saltsman Road, Erie, PA
We are a Bible-believing and teaching congregation that loves God and our neighbor.
We believe the Great Commission commands us to make disciples of Jesus Christ. This is a process that begins with our children and extends throughout our lives, to all those we encounter.
We also seek to share the gospel of salvation through grace, by faith in Jesus Christ, with our community, to the glory of God.

Key Ministry Areas
Prayer
“The Prayer of a righteous person has great power” (James 5:16). In our worship and in our small groups, Prayer is offered for our members, for the local community, for our nation, for the global community,
and for the church around the world.
Worship
Our Worship is focused on God though Praise and Prayer, and on the Word and the Sacraments. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly. Our Sunday Worship Service begins at 11:00am.
Outreach
Jesus, in the Great Commission, commands us to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). We, therefore, seek opportunities to connect with our local community, to share the Love of God with our neighbors, as well as supporting missionary work around the world.
Small Groups
Encouraging one another towards living a Godly life is an important element of our mission. Toward that end, we host small group studies on Friday evenings. If you are interested in joining a small group, please contact the church at (814) 566-7742 for details and check the calendar for dates and times.
For our Winter/Spring study, we will be looking at Romans 8
Fellowship
We are a community, and we enjoy spending time together. We support each other in times of crisis and in times of celebration. Following the service on the last Sunday of each month, we gather for a pot-luck meal and a great time of fellowship.
Scripture
The Word of God is central to our worship, in our adult and children’s classes and in our small groups. God reveals himself in his inspired Word (II Timothy 3:16). We seek to understand the historical context, the message of the text, how it reveals Christ, and how to apply it to our lives.
Sunday School
We desire to teach the word of God faithfully. To that end, we offer 3 different Sunday School classes each week – for Adults, Youth, and Elementary (K-6th grade). Classes start at 10:00 AM each Sunday. There is NO Sunday School during the summer months.
Core Principles
Reformed
We believe that “All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). By God’s Grace, He calls us to repentance and salvation and enables us to respond (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Sola Scriptura
God is revealed through Scripture Alone (II Timothy 3:16)
Community-Focused
The Church, since the 1st Century, has been an assembly of believers, their children, and those seeking God. As such, all are welcome. While we endeavor to support and build up our members in the faith, Faith Reformed Church is also seeking opportunities to share the Good News of Christ with our neighbors and our community.
Covenantal
We believe that God deals with his people in Covenant. Through the Covenant of Grace, God offers life and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
Sola Gratia
We are saved by God’s Grace, Alone (Ephesians 2:8)
Confessional
We ascribe to the doctrinal interpretations of the Westminster Confession of Faith as best containing the system of doctrine taught in the Holy Scriptures, the Bible, the Word of God, which is the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
Sola Fide
Salvation is by Faith Alone (Ephesians 2:8)
Soli Deo Gloria
All for the Glory of God Alone (Revelation 4:11)
Presbyterian
The Presbyterian form of church government is an elder-led body, based on the model of Acts 6. The roles and responsibilities for “shepherding the flock” (I Peter 5:2) are dividing among the Teaching and Ruling Elders. Deacons, also elected by the congregation, are focused on mercy ministries and the administrative functions of the church. Individual churches are gathered into Presbyteries, with Ruling Elders representing the churches. The national organization is the General Assembly, comprised of Teaching Elders and Ruling Elders from the local churches and presbyteries.
Solo Christus
Salvation is based on the work of Christ Alone (Acts 4:12)
